Dodge, Plymouth and chrysler products with there crazy fins and bird bath trunks. Who's cruzing one?
I can tell no one really likes me so i'll go away now.
My son is working on a '60 Dodge pioneer hard top (Canadian model). Really a nice car. I love '62 dodge dart but they are veryhard to find.
I searched for ten years before finding my '62 Dart 330 post two-door sedan. Most of the ones I looked at started at 5K and were '' painted-up shitboxes"! My folks had a '60 Dodge Pioneer fifty years ago.
Ah, the Sixty-Two Model Year, the year that cost Exner his job!

Ours,...currently undergoing a custom inspired transformation......
Your dates are a bit off when it comes to cool fins on Mopars...
The fun started in '57.
I've started a general 'fin-topic' sometime ago where all brands were welcome.
But since you do have a '57 Plymouth posted, I post my earlier stuff aswell!
1960 Chrysler NewYorker
1957 Chrysler Windsor
1957 Plymouth Belvedere
Boo HOO I can't post to this one - I gotta '63 Dodge - had it for 30 yrs but no fins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have 2!!! And heressssssEXNER!!! I'm sorry, wrong TV show.
I don't own one, but I want a 59 Coronet SO BAD!
Here is a buddy's 60 Polara.
How many of you guys have seen one of these before?
tell me more about that white 61 pioneer wagon please.
I left you a PM @ the '61 Seneca Wagon. That Polara is KOOL!!!
That Polara rammie is to die for.... here's my finzzz.
These are my daily drivers- '57 Plymouth Fury, and '58 Dodge Custom Sierra wagon
These are some of my current and future fin projects-
"Rusty" the '59 Sport Fury convertible
'59 Plymouth airport limousine
'57 Fury with factory A/C
'58 300 D factory EFI
Looks like I'll be busy for awhile!
Nice pics of your 'fin-stash' there John. You should put these on your website...
I got a pro street 59 Fury for sale if anyone is interested.
Here's mine, with some updated pics in the second thread.
John, I cant wait to see the limo finished. Its nice to see your toys. Dorsey Little Rock, AR
I like the '59 with the "Sold no parts" lettering on it. I did the same to my '55 Dodge convertible when I bought it, I couldn't pick it up for a few days but I didn't want anything walking off of it from the junkyard where it was so I wrote all over it. Worked too.
This is my 59 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer. Is has a Camaro P.S. sub frame trans-am rearend (3.73 )with disc brakes all around, 4 link suspension with front and rear air bags. Chevy 350/700r . It is a 79 Z28 with a Dodge body! Ya I know all you Mopar purist hate me!! It did have a rare 350 Mopar from the factory, But to keep it on the road when no parts could be found I had to find a ulterantive method. I added a/c,cruise control, tilt wheel, to the already power window swivel bucket seat car.
Update: Car is now under going a Chopped top 3 inches, shaved door handles, new paint job.
eh its your car, but i can't say i'd do the same. The chop surprises me though, the 2dr roof line is already so swoopy with the bubble top windshield.
I cruising a 61 Dodge Pioneer, just finsihed a 413 ram motor for it.
'60 Plym here, no fins on the '61 & up Plyms. Petty Blue with purple roof & scalloped area. Was a farmers car evidently, /6, 3 on the tree, no radio, no carpet, no nothing. Has 331/727 9" & 77 NYer disc spindles now.
Ok. So what's a bird bath trunk????....
Don't know, some Chryslers had toilet seat trunk covers.
I don't have anything '60-62, but I do have a couple of '57s.
