Need to change the rear end stud pattern from 6 stud to 5 on 4.75 on a 55 cameo truck to match the jag front that I am fitting, is there an easy way? or I should probably say whats the best way? [IMG]

What bolt pattern is the front, you might not want to match it.

  4. On line try Hells Gate Hot Rods,Rotten Leonards. He sells a do it yourself drilling jig/pattern so you get them right, and the wheel spins true.

You also need to consider the gear ratio in the stock rear end ...Probably 3.90s or 4.10s . Is that what you want? Speed limit on the motorway is 70mph? So unless you are going to use an overdrive trans you might want to consider swapping the rear end. A 70-81 Camaro 10 bolt works well , probably not too hard to find in the UK.

  6. most Jags are Chevy 4&3/4 " bolt pattern, install a Chevy rear in your truck,...easiest way to go and much better gear selection....you mite want lowered rear springs or flip your rear spring hangers to top of framerail then put rear on top of springs,..like this...
