Ok, so I'm looking at a '61 Ford F100 shortbed.....typical cheapo farmer truck.....3 speed, no options. Nice clean old truck...great driver/parts chaser. Now for the issue......it starts with no problems, EXCEPT.....after it starts and runs, the starter won't disengage from the flywheel. Rolling and popping the clutch works to test drive it, but not practical for a driver. Anyone have a thought as to problem/solution. Is it a hard parts issue or an electrical/wiring issue. What to look for...... Thanks in advance.
