6-6-0210 Sunday Models

Have not noticed a model car thread for the last couple of weeks so I thought I would start one this week.

I built this lil Zinger Super Dune a couple of weeks ago. After reading about Mark Moriaty and his Zinger projects I got hooked on these crazy kits.

 

i'm building a large scale ZINGER

 

I saw a real dune buggy on craigslist the other day. It was a Manx Style with a V-8 with a V Drive out of a boat going to right back to the differental. Had been sitting a long time. Bet it was a wild ride..

Here´s what I´ve been working on last, trying to decide on color for the floorpan of the one still in primer.

 

As a "started-again" model builder I'm really glad to see all the recent activity in the Sunday models threads! You all are helping to keep the faith, so thumbs up to all!

 

Still a lot of work to go...

Great looking models this week (as usual). Here are some shots of a 1/16 scale '31 Ford jalopy roundy rounder, typical of what might have raced in the "Hot Rod" class in California around 1962 or so. SBC and radiator are from a '57 Chevy.
