Awesome. Thanks Looks like fun
AldridgeDW - Thanks for pics
excellent pics...thank you
Thank you Inland Emperors for the fantastic event. It was like the Ford Picnic on steroids, so many great flathead cars all in one place. The new location was a big plus. The band was great, wish I could have stayed longer.
Yep the journey was great, event was great, food good, it was nice that the west side won, my only complaint is that there weren't enough pictures of me and my overhead conversion thingy
That pretty much covers it ! I will add that the food was also good and having the grass setting to park on was a great change. Great pics DW
What a great event and a great site to have it at. Another year of no rig tgoto put in the show but packing the camera for me but I had a great time and took plenty of photos.
Here is the link to my album of the cars in the show. http://s173.photobucket.com/user/mr...mperors Flathead run Monitor WA?sort=4&page=1
It's going to take a while as my internet at home is beyond slow.
Had to miss it this year. New location looks great. Thanks for the great pictures.
Thanks for the excellent pictures.
Looks like a great time and turn out!
Thanks for the pics DW and Mr 48 Chev. Great cross section of cars there.
Great Pics. Thanks for sharing.
I am still adding photos so check backon my album of the show..
Didn't want you to have to get that instagram account yet Larry...
awesome run great cars and car owners Thanks you Inland Emperors
So what was the car total from each side? Not that there's anything to lose but everyone should list their city of origin, then draw a line north-south through Monitor and see the real result of who's really from the east and who's from the west of the event. I'll always be a west-side sore loser. Thanks again for hosting all us derelicts.
it was great and location rocked! hope they keep the location because all i heard from the local guys was it rocked having it at the hot rod cafe in monitor wa.
Sure looks like fun. Any more pix? Gary
I will get my pics up in the next day or two.
Doug, count on the sheets was:
West side 27
East side 54
But I counted 119 cars at one time on the lawn. Its hard to get everyone to sign in. The weather was beautiful, thanks everyone for coming!
What a great day. Now we have to wait another year for another. Boo Hoo. It did help that some of our local rodders brought multiple cars, four in one case and three in the other and they both live west of Moniter! We all think the summit of the mountains is the right dividing line. After all there are so many more people on the west side.
Thanks to Chris and the Emperors for a wonderful day. And to Chris Lytle and the Hot Rod Cafe crew.
I posted some pictures on a separate thread. I didn't want to take a chance on messing up this thread like I did another one awhile back (Rookie poster that I am). I really enjoyed the show at the Hot Rod Cafe location. Thanks to all that made it happen!
All I'm reading here is the easts are filthy cheaters, whilst the puritanical angelic westys maintain honesty and uphold the rules
What is the story on the track t with the bumble bee rear end? That thing looks really cool. Is there a build thread on this somewhere?
That is built/owned by @SPEEDBARRONS who posted right above you. Such a kick ass car!
Thanks for posting such great pictures. Looks like fun.
Looked like an incredible show!
I thought there were only two rules. 1 bring a flathead of some kind. 2 be there by noon.LOL
THANKS to Thee Inland Emperors, what a GREAT show!! glad we could help out by using our property for the event. hope we can have more big events there in the future! it is sort of a central location for the Northwest, would be a perfect place for a Hotrodarama type event! (I tried to get permission to use that name, but didn't have much luck???) getting Sam's Jaloppy Roadster running almost did me in! but at least he got to drive it around !! Chris
