Thank you Inland Emperors for the fantastic event. It was like the Ford Picnic on steroids, so many great flathead cars all in one place. The new location was a big plus. The band was great, wish I could have stayed longer.

Yep the journey was great, event was great, food good, it was nice that the west side won, my only complaint is that there weren't enough pictures of me and my overhead conversion thingy

That pretty much covers it ! I will add that the food was also good and having the grass setting to park on was a great change. Great pics DW

So what was the car total from each side? Not that there's anything to lose but everyone should list their city of origin, then draw a line north-south through Monitor and see the real result of who's really from the east and who's from the west of the event. I'll always be a west-side sore loser. Thanks again for hosting all us derelicts.

Sure looks like fun. Any more pix? Gary

  19. I will get my pics up in the next day or two.

  20. Doug, count on the sheets was:

    West side 27
    East side 54

But I counted 119 cars at one time on the lawn. Its hard to get everyone to sign in. The weather was beautiful, thanks everyone for coming!

What a great day. Now we have to wait another year for another. Boo Hoo. It did help that some of our local rodders brought multiple cars, four in one case and three in the other and they both live west of Moniter! We all think the summit of the mountains is the right dividing line. After all there are so many more people on the west side.
Thanks to Chris and the Emperors for a wonderful day. And to Chris Lytle and the Hot Rod Cafe crew.

All I'm reading here is the easts are filthy cheaters, whilst the puritanical angelic westys maintain honesty and uphold the rules

  24. What is the story on the track t with the bumble bee rear end? That thing looks really cool. Is there a build thread on this somewhere?

  25. That is built/owned by @SPEEDBARRONS who posted right above you. Such a kick ass car!

THANKS to Thee Inland Emperors, what a GREAT show!! glad we could help out by using our property for the event. hope we can have more big events there in the future! it is sort of a central location for the Northwest, would be a perfect place for a Hotrodarama type event! (I tried to get permission to use that name, but didn't have much luck???) getting Sam's Jaloppy Roadster running almost did me in! but at least he got to drive it around !! Chris
