The Spinout is one of my favorite local shows. It is in a nice shady park in Brimfield (Kent), Ohio which is about an hour away from my house. Last year I missed it for the KKOA show so I was excited to go this year for the 5th annual. There was a threat of rain for Saturday but I had said I was taking my Chev, so I took the car. Id hate to be accused of being afraid of a little rain It was dry when I left my house but about 20 minutes into the drive it started to pour. Oh well. When I got to the park it quit and cleared off from about 10am until 3pm or so. Then it rained off and on for the whole evening, gotta love Ohio! There were lots of HAMBers in attendance, here are some photos from the day A neat little T bucket that I also saw in Columbus at GG A nice coupe that showed up HAMBer Mister Twisters gasser. Looking good all painted up! 49oldscoupes new sedan built by Walkers hot rod shop near Dayton, Ohio. Dave and the Spinners are the host club for this show
Gearhd69’s Chevy and my friend Mike’s truck novatattoo’s truck 1lowbuckrod’s neato gasser Greenfatrat’s wingman’s Chevy This had a Jalopy Journal sticker on it, not sure who it belongs to
A friend brought this intake to show me. He said he bought it about 30 years ago from a circle track racer. It fits on a Y-block but he has NO idea who manufactured it. The only marking on it is ‘855’. Anyone recognize it? leadsled01 brought his neat little leadsled go cart along. He had Jaybird strip it who did a fabulous job as usual. Before Work in progress The finished product, HAMB plate and all! Awesome detail on the headlights Jaybird and leadsled01 Great day playing hot rods with good friends. Rain or shine the Spinout is always a good time!

Thanks for the pics Megan!! Looks like there was tons of shit going down across the country this past weekend.....nothing in the South East though.

My little guy and I attended the show this year for the first time. We had a really good time. The guys putting on the show couldn't have been nicer.
Thanks for coming out and bringing Nathan with you! We need to get more little ones interested in hot rods so this hobby of ours is left in good hands. Here's a link to show coverage with pictures and a video if you would like to check it out. Dave http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=5479909#post5479909
Yep, that was Nathan drinking the red Kool-aid. He's a car-nut and I've been taking him to local shows every weekend. Here's a picture of him with my dad in my dad's original 23 T roadster. Thanks again for putting on a great show!
Cool! He looked like he was having a good time. The pic w grandpa will bring a lifetime of memories. later,Bill
