59 ranchero facelift... on the cheap

    Three weeks and less than $800 and my girls car is looking pretty good! i finished this wekend, so i figured id post some pictures...


    new interior, some welding, new paint a little lowering and wheels and tires and its like a whole different car...

    first pic was taken before we started and the last is how it sits now...

    thanks! i was going for a 60s look... the top color is a stock kia color:eek: in the sun it has lots of gold in it....

    the green on the top really changes it up... and you can never go wrong lowering your ride! THumbs up!

    the paint is a 2 part called "soft green". its an 09 kia color. i did it over a bright white base. it has a ton of metallic in it.... fairly inexpencive too.... around 30 bucks a quart.

    Wow!! You sure do have an eye for style. A lot of people could spend 10 grand and not get anywhere near that result. Congrats on a job well done. Beautiful car!
