Time for an update. Due to crazy work schedule have not done much for awhile. So I have the truck at mark's shop ( member of THEM!). I had an extra set of bedsides that were in pretty bad shape, but in awesome shape for what I wanted to do with them. I cut out the tail light section and am putting them on the tailgate for duals, like the old chevy wagon look. Taking the bedside spears and running them about 3/4 of the way on the doors. It is turning out like I had hoped!
Growing up, my Dad had a '59 Fleetside. My brother and I would spend hours pretending to drive it around, shifting the gears. The paint was oxidized, but with a paint brush and and full bucket of water, we could make it look like new again. This truck brings back lots of great memories for me and hopefully you will have as many if not more. The truck looks great!
Cool stuff! I'm really interested to see how those extended spears look when it's all said and done. The dual tails look awesome.
Sweet, it looks great, rembering talking about it at round up. You win.lol Cant wait to see what else is up your sleve.
Man your truck is Slick as owl shit! I don't know if you got any sleep, but even I was up all night thinking about what to do to the metal work on the top of the door. Later
Nice truck. Like the dual lites in rear, and the way you are taking the bed lines up into the cab. Question, I noticed your tag sticker, How is it registered that the tags don't expire till 2013?
kool beans on the engine, gave her 40 bucks & told her to hit the road hope it ain't bad karma. nice ride dude.
Hell yeah! Can't wait to see a shot from the side to get the full effect of the spear moved forward. Saw the truck @ invasion lookin good.
I just got it back from getting some metal work done. I really like the way the extended spears turned out! With a little more work it will be perfect!
