  3. jawdrpn36,
can I see a shot of those wheels? The knock offs look super cool.

    raunchero13,
It should be said, yeah your lights do look great, refreshingly "new". But not only the lights but overall, the car looks spectacular. The pic in your avatar looks really proportioned and such. Any threads on the hamb outlining your build? I live close enough that hopefully I'll see this thing first hand sometime.

Thanx man! I like it and im glad you guys like it! I had no idea what i was getting myself into when i started this project, i had no intention of making this car a beauty!! Hell i didn't even know what i wanted, i didn't even think i could build a car. But now things are different and i wanna finish it has best i can. I honestly truly couldn't do it without this forum, i dont know shit, i just research on here and study what other people have done, WITH PASSION!!!

    thanx again

    Ian

  9. Wowee, some great ideas so far. I have somewhat of a new idea of how to do this, without copying anyone on here. Thanks for the inspiration. Keep 'em coming!!

m_467351130b8ccee1f64a509566908ebc.jpg I use the clear lens with red "condoms" over the bulbs. It seems to blend in a little more with a white car, and they look kind of cool at night with that whole socket all lit up.

I tried this same thread a while back, but the thread died quick. It had the FNG anchor on it maybe.

here is my 62 with a very shaved version of the 59 lens. last picture is how it was originally. probably wont be able to tell if you dont know the 62 well.

Just done this for my 26T project

First job was to drill out the old bases.

Next job was to remove all the sticky out bits.

Next some simple brackets were made up after shortening the stud posts the thickness of the bracket material.

The lights now fit in the bezels nice and snug and nice and deep [IMG]
