I just ended up with mine cause it was my paw paws. I always thought it was cool when i was a kid. I never thought i would have so much fun with it.

  10. wish my grandpa had something as cool as a 58 ford (like one of his 55 chevys) but all he had was a 77 olds wagon which i got when he passed and still have

58's are sharp rides. Especially with the grill bar removed.

Had two 58s during high school.Loved the two door.It was fast.Traded it for a early falcon wagon. That was stupid.Oh by the way i can open the trunk by hitting to the left of the key hole.I thought that was cool.

Always thought 58 were odd looking to say the least, especially the taillights. Good thing we all don't like the same cars!

I ran into the back door of a 58 Ford that was doing about 60 mph at an intersection with my bicycle when I was a kid. The back bumper sticks out just enough to take the front wheel off a bike really fast.

I always wondered why Ford went from big round tail lights in 57 to the different looking 58 tail lights, then back to big round lights in 59.

Best thing about cars in the 50's & 60's is the manufacturers changed things on a yearly basis not like today's from the 2000's where they look like carbon copies. Some of us old farts remember riding on trips with Mom and Dad and calling out the cars we saw on the highway wouldn't be EZ to do now days.
