Do you have any pics of headers before you installed them? I was wondering how you got around steering box and 2 center exhaust ports? And steering column for #7

I love your car, My Dad was shop foreman at Superior Pontiac when they race this car. Loved going to the dealership on Saturdays. The driver also had a 40 Willys with an injected 421. The owner ordered his wife a 65 Pontiac wagon with a 421 and 4 speed. He liked toys.

I have some fabrication pictures but they're not very clear. I have these. I'll get some photos from under the car. We also moved the motor up about half an inch to create enough room. IMG_0570.jpg IMG_0568.jpg IMG_0548.jpg

Well, we missed the Meltdown Drags due to excessive hydro leak.

Well there’s always next year. The 10th annual should be the best. If I can whip up a 63 Tempest 421 SD clone in time it would surely be for me. Hope to see you there!

That is exactly how that car should sound.

It would be about a four-hour longer pull North for you, but don't rule out the Fallout in Wisconsin later this year. It is a "Mini-Meltdown" on a beautiful track, is well-run and absolutely is worth the trip. You would not be disappointed.

I love the video. I know this says a lot but the pontiac might possibly be one of my favorite cars on the HAMB!

I just realized that this is at the pontiac nationals. I go their with my friend and it’s an awesome event. OP, will you be taking your car there?

Their rules were either a pontiac body or pontiac engine I believe.. there was a Chevy pickup there with a pontiac in it

Now that's my kind of Pontiac, reminds me of my late uncle, he would trade his Pontiacs and before he got home with them he knew how far past 100 they'd go. The first one I can remember him having was a 57.

Killer car. And nicely done. Neat and clean. I love how the battery looks in the trunk, like factory. I've been thinking about doing something similar. Do you have any pics of how you did the battery cut off switch?

Thanks guys I really appreciate it. Sorry for the delay in updating the prgress, but as usual life has gotten in the way. So far I have only only run it on the 1/8 mile. Ran a 7.30 something at 100.56 mph. Poor 60 ft time. I think low 11's should be within reach. Been rained out twice. Should be able to get some runs in the next few weeks.
