Hydro valves in a 235 are like bar girls...if you find a tight one loosen her up a bit.

  10. OK, I know where your at now, I lived in Hillsboro for almost 40 years.

    Yay!!!!!!!!! Hey...be careful, Sloppy!...lol.

Better to have "ticky" valves than too tight. We can address that tomorrow...and a couple other things too. I suspect you may have a vacuum leak at the carb, (maybe) and somebody adjusted the fuel mixture to compensate.

'Night guys. But I'll be here for a few more minutes just to see what Sloppy says.

  12. :d:d:d;)

CVD...I've been half paying attention to what you guys are talking about. Do you really live on an island in the middle of the Columbia river?

  20. My shop is on an island in the middle of the river.

I used to have a house on the island as well.

Now we are building a new house on the bank of another river about 10 minutes away! :)

I cant have a dock at the new house, but we have one at the shop. :)

Carb...I took it apart and cleaned it..It had new Gaskets....

Yup...vacuum leak. When did you unhook the hose and plug the port?

Before we started here tonight? Or just now?

Is the port you plugged at the carb a secondary port?

    What's up, Sloppy?

  30. Looking at the pic posted earlier, I see where the vacuum line should be, and I dont see one running from the dizzy.

The pic of the dizzy is pretty dark on my screen, though.
