Here's some of my old girl.
Here is my latest project. Picked it up in San Diego a month ago or so and just finished dropping it with a set of Coker Classics paired with a set of Artillary wheels and Sids 3" drop axle. First picture is how I picked it up. Has a really cool patina look to it that I will just be doing a no shine clear on top of it.
Figure i may as put up my newest project. Its been quite a few years since i had a car to play around with. My 15 year old dqughter told me she wanted a truck and this is what we decided on.
@spags what size are those tires?
Had a broken rear leaf spring so decided to fix the problem!
In my 59!
We just picked up this '59 for my 13 year old grandson. His uncle started on it 40 years ago and decided he wasn't going to finish it and gave it to my grandson. Has a 351 Cleveland already installed. Should get it done by the time he turns 16
Any closeup shots of the rearend housing, maybe before being modded or before going in.
Is this original to the truck?
The diff is the original that came with the truck, this pic may show what your looking for!
Better, but hoping a straight on shot from the rear.
Looks to be the hard to find 57 (only) 1/2 ton truck housing.
These are very strong due to the lack of welded on axle tubes and they have the thickest tubes of the 9 inch housings.
Kinda quiet 'round here...
My Donna around 2012/13... Have since redone the rear fenders to let the side steps & Hudson taillights simk i to them, halfway through a tricky lakepipe treatment. Hood waiting fir the rest of the truck for repaint day.

Just took it off the market. 292 Y and a granny 4spd. I would love an auto behind it though.

Seen this 60 in a junkyard a couple years ago.
Trying out some caps. Let me know what y'all think.

Not a 57-60 51 or 52
Some of these may be from earlier in the thread, but lost in the photobucket purge. Rest from the web. Thanks to original photographers.
A few more.
Been pretty nuts about these as long as I can recall. My neighbor "Bas" when I was a kid had the most beat farm truck ever, short big window fridge. Both doors were messed up, passenger door was baling-wired shut, driver's door he just held closed while he drove. And he always had the hammer down!
Last few. There was a chopped red and red oxide primer shorty that I used to see at the Des Moines fairground shows back in the 80s, ran Centerline wheels (yes OT I know) and sat just right. Anyone know if it's still around?
Out in ours on Christmas Day (in the UK).
I'm starting on a '57... In the parts gathering stage now. Lots of great ideas on this thread!
