56 olds 88 wheels

Happy New Year Hambers ! Just fished painting my 56 Olds this week. Went with Hot Rod Flatz mint green on it . I'll try to post pics . A buddy of mine was telling me about a set of rims and tires that he knew that might come up for sale, There 14" Cragar ss wheels with almost new wide white radial tires. They are off a 55 Pontiac. I was wondering if the wheels would fit on my 56 Olds, and I'm eventually going to do a disc brake conversion on the front . Going with Scarebird . Didn't know if this set up would work or not . Need some Input from you guys. Might ditch the rims for steelies don't know yet.

Both are 5x5 pattern, although they originally came with 15" wheels. No idea if they'd clear a disc conversion, I suspect maybe not.

 

Highly Doubtful - unless they are similar to Centerline Autodrags...
