   Does anyone know if the trans tunnell, steering column surround, dip switch & battery covers are black standard or body color ? Just doing mine and wondered ? Thanks.

   I'm just pulling apart a cherry '55 cab, and all those parts are painted black. Looks factory...
   Guessing '56 would be the same.
