Can somebody tell me the differance between a 56 buick fron suspension and a 57. Air ride install pics for a 57 and the front suspension looks the same as a 56, exept for the upper shock mounts look a little diff.
'56 still had kingpins; '57 had ball joints. '56 had a tubular shock inside the spring and anchored to the lower control arm. '57 MAY have had the shock mounted externally.
56 front end is way different. 57 had what they called a lifetime front end. just make some cups and run 6 inch bags and mount the shock behind the a arms.
