Is anyone aware of anything that interchanges with my Olds Radiator wise ? after my trip to aussie last week I might need to look at a cheaper option to get the Olds going again.....

Can do, but at 4-500 I was hoping I could find something a bit cheaper to fit for a while to keep me on the road (tri 5 Chev ?) until I have the $$ to do it right.

hollander lists 55-6 olds only. so you better get your measuring stick out and head for the salvage yard.

55 - 57 chev or pontiac might be close. The problem is the location of the water outlet on the bottom. You would have to do a bit of creative plumbing. The water outlet on the Olds is on the driver's side, SBC is on the passenger side.
Get a couple rad hoses for the bends and a piece of straight pipe in the middle. Just like tinker toys!

I put a '56 Olds radiator in mine. I just ignored the fact that it had a tranny cooler in it that I didn't need.
