  2. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about :D, I would not have it any other way.. You guys did wonders within a short time. Congrats , it looks real good. Well I just posted some crazy thoughts on another thread about 57 Nomads.......and since I have one that is a roller project ........here it goes...........I am considering a mid engine 57 Nomad gasser:eek:.........I know the Nomad Gods will not be happy..........but.........can anybody relate to the idea of an extreme build .......it could happen ......I'm talking about something like the 55 Chevado from back in the day. The car would be limited to wheelstands, ya know nothing real extraordinary:D:eek:. Just a thought and mind build now but ............I do have all the ingredients to pull this off..........any support on this idea. ;)

got to drive the gasser yesterday ! Freaking awesome man! best driving straight axle I've ever been in. 70mph just let go of the wheel and it holds straight. awesome. not going to be a problem making it to lsr!

Yea he wanted to keep it like that but nothing matched and it has done body damage that had to be fixed, but it's going to cool when he's finished, and it's not yet

Great looking '55 wagon! The gasser style always looks good, painted, or patchwork. I prefer paint myself, so glad to see you're giving it a facelift!

the axel kit as odass said was from speedway it was 50" wide + 1/2 inch for wilwood. it was the widest that speedway listed. fits pretty good. by the way 1955 spidergears suck. my right foot got heavy and my left foot got light today, the first burnout was killer......i guess the tires got sticky and the second one didnt go over so well..... and the rest of the story is i spent the rest of the day putting a new chunk in it... sucks two days before im leaving for austin.. so NO BURNOUTS in austin.......

Looking good I like the style

I like the all used up look of it. I'm doing a similar style build. No need for the time on the body, just on the mechanics to make 'er go fast.
