    Well i think i got my issue worked out and will be doing the flake roof this weekend...I hope it comes out good so I can post pics....First process will be to spray the flake and put 3 heavy coats of clear then let it sit for a few days, sand it and then finish clear then sand again and then buff the snot out of it....

    OK, got some pics .....got flake roof layed out and locked in clear...still need to sand and polish out but the pics suk the apple red flake is like bling in the sun...

    Got front clip painted in hotrod black as well ....startin to look like a car...:cool:

    let me tell ya that flake wasnt easy to do. Especially achieving full coverage over a silver base...from now on i will flake over simular color...but the silver base helped alot with the sparkle...

    Been building the short block on my week nites at home. Got all the rings filed and dropped 4 pistons in the engine last nite...may do the last 4 tonight and start on the next step...

    Well got the bottom end done on the 509 bbc power plant. I know its half an engine but im getting excited...

    well in arizona where my 55 chevy is at it is 115 degs during day and in the 90s at nite....So not alot has been getting done, But i put my car on the lift and worked on the steering...got it 80 percent done...took a pic of column setup...worked nice...

    thanks...i wish i can be working on it every night and weekends to finish sooner but isnt gonna happen....alot of little stuff is getting done though...Like building the wire harness inside so i dont have to deal with the heat..

    Well got alot done this weekend. took car to buddys shop so we can tackle it... got cage all done, steering is all done...(way cool for when pushing car around....no more kickin tires,,,lol.... also finished up some front frame welding ...tabs, mounts ect....

    So I was cruisin craigslist and found these....brand new for 80 bucks so I snatched em up. they are the RCI off road seats . close to 250 dollars together if you add it all up ....pretty darn good deal!
