55 Ford trans swap

    I have a 55 Customline 6cly 3 speed manual on floor, Will a ford T-10 bolt up to my bellhouseing? If not do you know of a manual trans 3 or 4 speed that will so I can have a 1st gear syncro.
    Appreciate any help

  5. The T-10 should have the early 49/64 trans narrow mount pattern. The later FORD 3.03 3/S is synchro first and will allow you to retain your column shift. These became available in the 1963 model run.
