i have a question about the 2-link... how is the side-to-side play in it and how does your setup effect the pinion angle? the work looks good!
Boy that Caddy sits nice. I know what you mean about that inch. My '64 Olds sits with about a cigarette's thickness between the tranny pan and the ground when it's all the way aired out. I'd love another inch or two but all that work for that last little bit.
It has a lot of side to side play but I haven't installed the pan hard bar yet. . I wont lie, it does move the pinion more than a 4 link but it has a large drivable range and I can keep the rear seat stock
make sure to post picks of the panhard bar when you get it mounted... i plan on slamming my 53 cadillac and this is a great help. thanks again.
im not really sure how im going to cut out the tubs. they are up pretty high to begin with. hopefully i wont need to do to much. here is a picture with my fender off. if i raise the wheel well anymore, it will get awfully close to cutting into the body. i might have just enough room. i will have to wait and see when i get my new rims and tires.
I currently have my 53 lowered...but with springs. been thinking about air bags though. She sits pretty low already, but it would be nice to go up for a smooth ride occasionally. A stock 53 pulled up next to me at a cruise-in. I think I have a 6" drop up front . You forget how high they came from teh factory when you don't see them like that all the time.
