thought i'd post a few pics of the altered wheel base chevy i'v been building.the rear wheels have been pushed forward 9 inchs the motor has been moved back 2 inchs, straight front axel,13:1 comppresion 327 ,super t-10 four speed, with a 9 inch ford with 5:29 gears in the rear the car is far from being done but it's geting there. SO WHATCHA THINK?

  2. That thing looks real wicked. The altered wheelbase really makes it look aggressive.

I need to get to work on resurrecting the altered wheel base '57 Ford languishing in my back yard.

I love the fact that you kept the stock wheel wells. That's a ton of work that came out looking cool. Post some pics of the wheels up, when you get 'em.

Nice job. Do you have pictures of you sidestepping the clutch at 7K? Those would be nice too.

Awesome man! You should start thinking about wheelie bars if you haven't already. It's a freaky feeling when they stand up on the bumper, you can't see anything but sky. Its cool but the thought of going over backwards is un-nerving.
