54 Ford Light Frenching Kit

I have a 54 Customline and want to french my headlights. Where can I get the correct kit for this? I found on knight prowlers that is a 51 or 52 Merc. style. Will this fit my car without any mods before welding? I am not sure if there are any other headlights rings I can use to weld in. The ones on my car are pot metal from what I was told and will not weld.
