54 Ford Hood Hinges Help

Anyone have a good idea on how to remove the hood of a 1954 customline? It's not like any chevy I have worked on and looking at the springs I don't want to remove the hood and have things start flying all over the place.

 

3 bolts on each side,,just take them loose but get some help holding it.

If the hood fits well take your drill and drill a hole through the hinge into the hood to use to line the hood back,, install a nail in the hole when you install the hood again,,the hinges are slotted for alignment. HRP
