Projects 54 ford f100 kick up

  1. Started on my f100 rear kick up last night for more diff clearance.
    Here is how it likes so far.i think it flows ok

    Nothing better than a first generation F100 Great looking work. I've got a '53 F100 that's been c notched and has a Trans-Am front clip. Yeah, I know. The dreaded front clip. Not exactly traditional underneath, but cheap and will be a good work truck when done. Keep up the great work.

    Looks great. Do you have a photo of the inner side? I like to see the various reinforcement techniques that people use.

Sure,I have tig welded a plate on top out side of chassis then fully welded the inside side,cut the shape of the kick up I still got to close the bottom.i then cut away the old top chassis lip as the chassis is getting fully boxed.the front end is art Morrison and rear end strange rear(I know it's not tradional)
