i found this 54 on craigslist for a friend of mine a few months back... we agreed to do a quick makeover before sending it up north.. i took care of some of the major dents and bodywork, removed the dummy spots and some of the hood emblems and welded the holes.. got the front bumper rechromed, located all but on piece of side trim (thanks "Kustomline54"), located a grill, but it still needs some work, did a small notch under the rear seat where the driveshaft would hit if anyone sat in the back, then sprayed the dash and outside a satin green.. delivered it up north this weekend to her new home.. still needs a little work, but what a cool lil car.. my daughter wants one now! Now time to get back to work on my chevy!!
Nice work CJ, it came out straight bro! The color fits that car perfect... your friend must be stoked!
Badluck do you have a paint code for that color? Amazing what a bit of fresh paint can do, well done.
In case you haven't got one for your daughter yet check this out: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/group.php?do=discuss&group=&discussionid=29061 '54 is looking good! we have a member parting out a '54 might have a grille or for a custom look a '55 Plymouth grille is a less than 30 minute bolt in for '52-54 Fords.
