54 chevy vin

I need to find the Vin on a 54 chevy

 

It should be on a plate riveted to the drivers side door jamb. (It's not on the chassis.)!

 

i checked already.. i even checked the fenders.. nothing... what part on the frame?

 

I believe you can find one on the top side of the frame. I cant remember if it is drivers side or passenger side. Pretty much impossible to do with the body on the frame. Vin tag should be drivers side door

 

It's not on the frame. Not until 55 were they put on the frame. There's probably two small holes somewhere on the drivers side door jamb showing it was there at one time. Should have been above the hinge.

Yep, inside driver's side door pillar just before the curve to the roof. About a 1" by 3" stainless stamped VIN tag.
