Laurie Peterson of Canada Customs & Hot Rods is chopping & customizing my 54 Chevy. It is getting 56 Packard tail lights, 56 Olds headlight bezels, 56 Chevy bumpers, 50 Ford rear window, custom skirts, and some other goodies. Here are some pics of the progress so far. And yes, it is getting lowered some more. Any ideas on color? Mike
I really like the combo of the packard lights and the olds headlights, kinda pointed at both ends. Dark green would be good, no flake but tons of clear.

looks good, makes me want to go out in the shop and start chopping ...I would go a Little wilder with the color like heavy green flake roof and some scallops and wallah your done !
Holy shit! First ther was the Hirohata clone then the Kookie car and now the Nads Chevy! haha....just kidding! For those who dont know,Floridas favorite and most literate Hamber has a chopped 54 with olds headlights and 56 Packard Clipper taillights! THe roof on the one shown is definetely one of the better ones ever done!
Says '50 Ford rear window. That seems to be the standard, haven't seen anything that it didn't look good in. I've got one for my '53 Ford when I get back to it.
Color? Go with a green and do a heavy silver flake on the roof with the same color green scallops coming off the front roof. Green is a kool color to work on many cars. My '54 Chrysler is green and will be again when the chop is finished on it and I want to flake the roof too on it. KNUX!
i like it a lot! i, like, seventh the motion for a shade of green. ...but those taillights make those skirts look silly. that new side profile is begging for some looong cruiser skirts...
That looks great! Love a chopped 54 Chev! Is there anything '56 Olds rings don't look good on? Just brought my set up from storage for my 49 this weekend.

Looks awesome! Seems likeit is getting done pretty quickly I say green would be nice, especially with a silver flaked roof. Candy green also would be nice.
I am lucky enough to have seen this car in person,it looks killer.Colours are probably one of the hardest choices to make on a car.Try satin gold with a metelflake white or silver roof,then taildrag the shit outoff it.Watever colour you pick will be cool.

About the time I get someone wanting to buy my 54 someone goes and posts pics of some! Now I wanna chop mine!
Its nice to see somebody cut up a really good car.Why start with rust if you dont have too.How about some cruizer skirts?
