54 chevy disc brake upgrade ???????

im going to upgrade the brakes on my 54 to a disc up front with a firewall mount dual mc/ booster and proportioning valve for the rr drums. so i was wondering do i need the residual check valves for the front and rear ? i heard aslong as the mc is above the bleeder screws i dont but i just want to double check ! thanks !

You shouldn't need them with a firewall mounted master cylinder.
And for what it's worth, "your" is possessive and "you're" is the proper contraction for you are.
