    54 chevy door strickers jam plates any one know where to buy em or cheap way to fix em ?
    Door just flung open on me when I made a sharp right turn lucky my a$$ puckerd enough of
    My seat to keep me in !

    sounds like you may need some new seat covers too.

    I wonder if the 4 door back door latches are the same. My theory is that they are used less and a person is more likely to find a good used rear door latch. I hope someone knows if they interchange.

    they are the same. easy fix, and the're plentiful. i think all GM small series cars used the same striker.

    use ebay and I believe olds had the same type? and maybe buick? I know thats how I got mine so cheap.(when i had one) crap maybe it was caddy I cant remember but that should broaden the search for ya anyhow. good luck man.
