I am considering putting a 54' Chevy 2door post body on a 4door frame. Anyone done this here? Was the frame and the mounting points the same on the 2 and 4 doors? I hunted through the shop manual and I couldn't find my answer.

Never tried it, but I've heard frames are identical...

im putting a 4-door frame under my 2-door sedan and my body
mount are different. the mounts on the outside of the frame just before the rear wheel are different, I just cut them off and welded a piece of angle iron just like the factory did for the 2-door. other than that the mounts are close enuuff for me . that was my only problem.-
