54 Bel Air Drop

Ok I know this has topic been beaten to death, but can anyone tell me how much suspension travel they have after droping the front 3" by cutting the coils? how much did you trim off the bump stops???

 

I lowered mine 5" or so front and rear. Stepped arms and cut coils up front and I don't remember having to trim the stops. When you cut the coils you stiffen the spring. I've stood on the bumper and bounced it up and down and never hit the stops. I do however have good shocks front and rear.

 

Just cut them until your not riding on them.
