Tons of inspiration here! Very similar suspension set up to what I am putting on my 48 poncho. Thanks for sharing!

There's probably a lot of opinions on what "show quality" is. Regardless, it's looking great to me!

It's such an insane time commitment just getting it to that point. Good work. Only a million hours left to go!

    Nice man, and cool work.

One thing is confusing me though - you said a while back that you really liked the straight 8, and that something pretty dire would have to happen to make you switch to the 327. Next thing I see a v8 in the pictures. What did you discover that made you change your mind ?

    Thanks

Thanks again for the compliments !
There were quite a few things that made me decide and change the motor. #1 being it spung a bearing right in the drive way. Now of course it could have been rebuilt, but the lack of power from the eight, and my plans for this car as far as traveling and driving conditions made it more and more apparent I needed more ! I got to drive an older pontiac with the straight eight and I really wasnt impressed.it is one of the smoothest running motors Ive ever seen, but just to pussy for me i guess.
This is the last car I'll be building for myself for a while and i want to enjoy it. Honestly my hope is to finish the car for my wedding next July, and we want to put it on a boat to Seattle and drive it to The Round Up 2014.
I hope to have it drivable in the next month or so, wich means being able to get it in and out of the garage without having to push the big bitch ! Plans after that are paint in the fall and interior over the winter, My biggest cost is going to be chrome,we no longer have a chrome shop here so its gonna cost a lot to send everything out.

Awesome seems a shame to cover that metal work with paint. Very cool.
