My local Car Quest is usually pretty good about getting my parts for older cars. I called them today looking for a Left Front wheel cylinder for a '53 Chevy 210. Their listings stop at '52 and start again at '55, skipping over 53-54. Will either the earlier or later wheel cylinders interchange? Thanks for the help.
51-58 front 51-64 rear (I believe, but at least to '58) I got mine on eBay for about $40 for the pair, sold as for Corvette through '62; closest I could come local was Advance Auto had them about $30 a side. '62 hardware and adjusters will work, too.
http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductList.aspx?parttype=232&ptset=A&searchfor=Wheel+Cylinder Checkers website is pretty handy for checking things out. Once you pick a part, you have the option of seing everything that part will fit. NAPA's website is better for pictures and specs, but doesn't allow you to see all applications.
