I am enjoying your work and creativity. Some customs just look awkward and created to be so different that they just look off.
Your 53 is coming together so it looks very different but has a very natural flow. Great work.
I like 53 Chevs. My first car was a 1953 Chev Belair hardtop that I bought for $75 which is like $750 now. It was a very good looking car that need some work. They use a lot of salt on Ontario roads & it turned out to be rusted beyond my 16 year old abilities.
Looks like you are having fun building the car. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, I guess I'm going for the "mild custom" look when it really is not that mild. I think it cool when car guys have to ask me what's done to it.

  5. Awesome build Mikko, you got talent. Innovative idea mating BMW and GM, many will ask why, I'd say why not :p

Looks good. I didn't think I liked sectioned cars until I saw this one. Really nice.

Looking good! Some would not consider it sanding guide - they would claim: it's done... ;)

But gloss black it will be? Not much of a painting guy but patience and good preparations plus taking time to correct any minor flaws in the making will end in quite acceptable results. Good luck - it's a nice project and great ideas.

Forty years ago when I visited Sweden a "Raggarbil" was a rusted out 4-door run down American car with 8 drunks inside.... This is way too nice to be called a raggarbil. Or did the term change?

Well this piece of shit used to be a rusted out 4 door bucket and it will still carry 8 drunken Raggers when it's done:cool:
