  4. Kid, your build gets more and more exciting with each post! I think the quarter/skirts is a great idea (kudos to the artist as well)! Will you be knocking down the remainder of the fender bulge at the leading edge of the skirt to create the scoop? I'm following along with great interest!

Great update! Watching the front suspension install closely! Looks like a solid design.

hey man killer build. the notch i did on my apache build is incredibly similar. im going bagless as well. i flipped the rear, made new drop shackles, and have 3" posies all mocked up now. i love all the metal work youve done. and i feel your pain with the need for tools. my grinder, sander, floor jack, dremel, and two drills took a shit in one week  hahaha. keep up the good work bro. subscribed

glad to see you getting back on this gal! Iv'e been waiting for what seems like forever!!!

Ive given a lot of thought to deleting my belt line like you did, when I chopped mine I put a 52 styleline rear window in and had to move the belt line in a bit, figured I could manipulate the stainless, I think I may havve been wrong in that ;)

Now that its been a little while are you still happy with the belt line being gone?

Not a bad idea at all, I have a Fatmans MII under mine and it is pretty strong side to side because of the way the crossmember is built but I am amazed at how flexible these frames are everytime I jack up the car, seems like my front half has a good 1/4+ of flex to it!!!

Sweet ride. The metal work is coming along nice. What rear end gears are you running behind the T-5? Did you use a kit to mount it to the 235? This was probably in the thread somewhere... I just did not see it.

New to the site and lovin' all the great info. Just spent the last 2 hours reading this whole thread! Looking forward to starting on my own 53 (4door 210), just not sure what direction I'm going with it.

I'm starting this build thread over at a later date. It got off track much like the build. 53 Chevy full custom build journal version 2.0 will be up soon. Thank you for all the support and help over the years. Viva La HAMB!
