52 Styleline from rat to kustom.

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by bigdaddyslip, Oct 13, 2010.

  1. So I was trying to sell my 66 truck with no luck and a friend called me and told me a friend of his had a chopped 52 he might want to trade. Well when I went and looked it was a little Rat in stature but I saw its potential. So the trade was struck and just after it was I got notice i was going to be deployed for training for a few months. Luckily for me just before I left I got ahold of Matt at Noble fabrication we had a pow wow and he said he would work on it while I was gone. So here it is so far.

    Nice, any before shots?

  12. Here is a before picture believe me it looks a lot better in this picture then it actually was. Bad welds overheated panels from welding way to long on them oh and lets not over look the teeth welded into the turn signal housings. Doors were not aligned lets just say rough real rough.

It might have been rough but let's give credit where credit is due: that looks like an awfully nice (and well-proportioned) chop!

Nice car. Looking forward to seeing it when it's all completed.

  14. Atomickustom. I could not agree more on the chop that's why I jumped on it I saw the potential to be a killer car and I couldn't let it live it's days unfinished.

  15. I stopped by again today to see the progress on the fenders and I was stoked. We decieded to put 54 Ford fender lips on it just to give it a little flare and I was blown away at how clean they came out.

    Looking good.
#1 Thank you for your service.
#2 I didn't really think the before picture was a "rat"?
What do you consider "rat"? I always thought a rat was a cobbled up rusty piece of sh*t?
