On a scale of 1 to 10 how hard is it to replace the vent window seal on my truck, [52 gmc] 232.JPG I looked on the interweb and found a couple of how to's and got nervous. Any hints or tips would be helpful. Thanks.

Pretty easy. Not as bad as changing out the glass.

On the same subject, I have a glass project on my hands too. Want to replace all windows and seals. Am I in over my head? I mean I can wrench a bit but I'm no body guy.

  5. I hand the assembly, new glass and rubber to the guy who does my glass. In about a week he drops it off finished. He did my 2 side windows, 2 vent windows for about $75. Hit me for $125 to install my windshield and he earned every cent.

The side glass and vents are a royal pain but doable. The front and rear are cake walks besides the lock strip in the rear window.
