52 dodge brake issues

    my 52 dodge brakes are spongy and dont pull back up ....i can pull the peadle back with my foot or had but it is real tough... any info will help ...is this the mastercylender ..i think it needs a new spring but that dosent explain why its so tight ..what can i try to do to fix this ? thanks
     
  2. how long have you had the car? sounds like a thorough look over would be a good start.

    My stock brakes sucked on my 52 plymouth. I would start by getting a factory service manual off the auction site or at your next swap meet, and going through the whole system. I think Kanter has the stock parts. Check here, too: http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/
