I don't have any details on the engine david found it used. I think it's a 388. What else are you needing to know.

What type of balancer is on the motor? I'm looking for a high performance one that is smaller.

It looks like a T10 the way the bottom of the side cover has a curve to it.

  14. Probably a Richmond Super T10, for the engine's sake, I hope its a 2.64 or 2.88 low model, not the dreaded 2.20 low version. Pretty sure all the Borg Warner built Super T10's (prior to Richmond's ownership), were cast iron.

I think it's just a stock Balancer I don't know anything about the engine. He just brought it to me when I was building the chassis. I don't run a balancer on mine because it hits my cam driven fuel pump, but it's balanced right. I just have an aluminum wheel bolted to a hub to set the timing.

You're right I think Weiand is what they are, the cal custom ones look a little different.

I went by and checked on Mikes progress last night and he's coming along good. The biggest thing he likes now is wiring, windows and installing the aluminum. If y'all remember back in the thread the aluminum is already done with all the holes drilled just need's to be installed but that takes more time than you would think because I don't allow rivets except where there is no choice. It will be bolted in with #8 stainless bolts and lock-nuts. Also the guy has been by buffing on the paint if you were wondering about the blue tape around the edges in these pics. 22. The quality, cleanliness, and attention to detail always amaze me with your builds. You don't always see that on full on race cars like this. Cant wait to see this in person!

Union is September 5th that's going to be pushing it. Greer is not until November 7th it will be there with bells on. Charlie Tyre is coming Tuesday to letter it.
