Customs 51 plymouth my build thread a little late!

    I agree with extending the quarters back some. I like the Plymouths but they always look a little short and stubby on the backside. Did a little modification in photoshop on the quarters.

    yea the extended quarters front and back look really good!

    I would just look for another set of rear fenders or cut those and add sheet metal:D

  6. well a small update the trans was trash. i swapped it thursday morning we left for santa maria friday at 10 a.m. we made it 7. 2 break downs 7 quarts of oil and 15 thumbs up.

  8. ok the car made it santa maria and home 14 quarts of oil total. the front main is wasted. but it actually runs and drives great other than that!here are two pics form the show.

  15. so some of you guys may have noticed that i have been thinking of trading it. well since i can't bring myself to pull the trigger i pulled the car part again. so i can't..here are my plans i have off white paint for the firewall regasket the motor i might be getting a grant spaulding flame thrower dizzy.iwant to get some corvette valve covers and an edelbrock c3b intake.so here are some new pics.

    Trading that car would be a bad idea man! You have done such a good job making it cool you cant let someone else get it and try and take the credit!!!

    Definately keep it! My 58 im working on now, i started on when i was 19, sold it when i was 20, and regretted it from day1!! Luckily i was able to buy it back last feb, but most people never get that chance.

  20. ok i got some more work done today. motor and trans out. thanks to my buddy timmy (losthope on the hamb).new old finned valve covers are on the way. i have the paint for the fire wall. and i should have a new intake early next week.here are the pics from today.

    Haha Right on! Got a picture of my nephew helping out! Once I get back from out of town we will have to start doing some of the body work to it! besides that i cant wait to get over there and see how your doing the glass...keep at it !
