what a cool build! Nice to see a plymouth getting the custom treatment! chop is perfect... gotta be honest though, was kinda bummed you didnt keep the original hardtop back glass!! still looks kick ass... I'll be at Mooneyes too, so get busy so I can check it out in person! :)

Ive personally seen this build come a long way, and there wont be a better plymouth out there when done! Keep it up and you'll make that dead line for sure. E.A.D.T.!!

Nice, glad you got a thread going. My poor Plymouth got pushed even further into the back burners. I just scored a 30 Dodge PU. Yours is coming along great. Looking forward to the updates.

Glendale, are you here? Hopefully you've been busy on the Plymouth.

  18. life has once again stopped my plan. hopefully after the new year..

  19. sorry i took so long to get back to you. i used the stock rings. i had to buy like six rings to find a set i could actually get to hold a weld and then finished them with marglass.

  20. thanks! All the stock rings I've seen have been pot metal.

Too bad you're stuck again--I know the feeling. My chop has been 1/2 done for 4 years now!.

  21. they are pot metal. if you turn your heat way down depending on the ring you can do it.

Sick ride man I ben workin on a 50 wayfarer for a lil over a year now was wonderin on the 350 350 swap what you did about steering? I'm lookin to do the same to mine.

  23. if i were going to do the drive train swap over i would do a small block mopar. look up shadowcustoms on here he has a dodge with a mopar motor way easier fit.
here is a new sad pick. she has been out in the rain for about a week. so now all the primer is going to come back off. it's not sealer just primer. and it's already starting to rust again.

A setback, for sure. At least you're ahead of the game with the major stuff: chop & stance. And love that grille !!

  25. the grill is stock.yea i rushed the primer any way.thanks for the compliments.
