Looks fantastic, great colors.
Do you have anything showing how you did the bullets in the hubcaps? I think they would look great on my '51 Tudor. Thanks.
Great build Hupster Gary !! Shows one heckuva lot of talent.
At the start of the thread it didnt look like it'd ever come out of it's duldrums, but you certainly turned it around.
BTW, what tires are you running on 'er ?
Very, very nice! Looking forward to more pix.
It's really simple. Just drill a hole in the center of the cap to attach the bullet. I'l try to remember to pull one and take a picture. I'll also measure the bullet.
Thanks, Gatz. The tires are Diamondbacks-Michelins.
Thanks, J.A. I'll try to post a couple more.
But does the middle headlight turn with the steering wheel?
Love the build. Not very far off on what I have planned for my '49.
Thanks, bugbox. No, fog light is stationary.
Here's a motor pic.
hupster, seen the car last weekend at Pleasanton. took some shots but the car was in the shade tmost of the time for great shots of it. you did a really nice job on it. color selection is great. I normally do not like hood up shots but once I seen what you had I wish it the hood was higher to get a better shot of those 6 carbs.
Here are a couple of shots of a hub cap. The bullets are 4" in diameter.
Thanks, I agree cars do look a lot better with hoods closed. I just couldn't resist a peep into the engine area. There's a lot of work in the intake - Ed Umland & Richard Smith get most of the credit.
WOW... what a huge project. Turned out VERY nice, you should be proud.
