51 chevy taillamp ideas!

    What are sum of your tail lite ideas for a 51 chevy?! Mild or wild!
     
  2. smooth the stock tail light area, put some 50 pontiac tail lights in the big open space under the corners of the deck lid. just a thought, simple and subtle.

    on the 51 here at the shop we put in the 48 Ford nothing radical just a cleaner look over the stock Chevy ones

    Saw some 50 Cadilac fins and tailights grafted on one once .It looked pretty dang slick and different IMO .I dont like the shoebox Ford lights on them though.I just dont think the 1/4 are tall enough for the 49-51 Ford lights .They look great on other cars though ...

    Take a peek at Robletica's build thread- he turned '49 Ford tails vertical, frenched them, and it looks sweet!

    I always preferred the look of 56/57 or the 58-60 Corvette taillights along the crown of the fender. The early ones have no covering red full-length lenses, while the later ones do - either is attractive, but I don't know what the 'vette whackos have done to the prices on these things.
