Well...Not much to take photos of so....The update is that I went back to work and its getting in the way of finishing this ol girl. Oldtimer (Dan) came by last night and rebuilt the edlebrock for me, Im going to get that on and then tackle that broken dipstick tube I keep putting off. The fluids will follow with the battery and then fire it for Sunday Im hoping! Thanx again Dan!

Work, and everyday life seem to get in the way of our true desires to work on these things; but anything done adds up to a finished job. Can't wait for your Sunday update on it running.....Jim

Jim, you got that rite buddy. When I did my 54, 5 years went by like nothing! It would sit for months at a time while I was busy with work and such. So knowing that I really pushed this summer as you have seen to complete it. Im so glad I did too because id work 12 hours and sometimes feel like nothing got done....going out for a couple hours seems usless at that point and hinders alot of peoples projects but as you said every little bit adds up to completion.

I look to be on track to fire it Sunday, fixed the dipstick tube tonight finally and installed doors handles along with a few other little items. I alos got the rear bumper mud work, sanded and primed for paint tomorro. My parts room is finally empty!!
