Not really, It looks to me like the original builder set the motor with exhaust manifolds on and held it close to the passgnrside and made the \_/ style motor mount, then shimmed the steering box as needed. I can tell you its not drastic, you barely notice, same as the collum! Let me know if you need more exact measurments, hows the 49 coming along, I havent seen any updates?

Got the hood stripped yesterday, it in really good shape too, only minimal bodywork needed! I wish I had ued aircraft stripper on all of the parts!

I had my buddy Philly The Greek from Miracle Design stop by and stripe my dash for me!

Phill also took care of the tailgate for me too...The pinstripe color on dash is very suttle, just a few shades off from the body color...you can just see it around the black lettering. Im stoked how it all came out, Thanx Phill!

Im using the stock style black vinyl seat that was in it originally...it was in great shape so im running it along with the black cardboard style door inserts and headliner.

That ATS sticker brings back memories! I have done a lot of engineering and code development for ATS back in the day - that is quite the nerd pile of junk you have.

And that '51 looks like is ready for a rebuild!

Chevy54 - that pickup is looking great - perfect build that shows what you can do without breaking the bank on a full on body and paint shop treatment. Nice work!

Sweet truck, I guess I'm the only person in the world who enjoys color sanding and buffing cars?

Thanx man, your rite, considering I took it to the frame and all which I did not plan on doing Im still in a good place cost wise! Doing all the work backyard style saved me a ton...and in the long run using it as a driver thequality will be just fine! Hope I inspire others!

Hah, u know if i hadnt been sanding bodywork then all the block sanding primer....id prob enjoy the color sanding alot more, Im spent!:(

:eek:BTW...Sorry about the Photobucket band width exceed guys...I just upgraded so hopefully all my photos come back now that there paid!
