In the late 50s my brother and I hot rodded a model T coupe. We raced it for a few years and then retired it. We still have the car. I've always wondered about a claim made by the guy we bought it from. He said that it was the image of that car that was used for the club plaque for a Long Beach car club. It's a '23 coupe body, chopped ~12 inches, on a '32 frame. I'd really like to verify the story, and then try to find one of the plaques (fat chance). This picture is of the car as purchased around 1958.
I don't know about your club,I've got a plaque (the seadaners) thay I've been trying to find any info about?????

In the 50s & 60s there were several foundries in the L.A area that made plaques. I doubt that the pattern still exists, but just maybe somebody has one in there collection. I would love to just get a look at it.
