50 years of rod and custom book

i have some qustions about the chopped and channeled 30'-31' five window on page 49 of the book. The car was in the May 1957 issue. First of all are there any other pics of this car? Who owned it? How much was the top chopped and why was the engine set back like that? Any help would be appreciated.
