The reason your one arm is smaller than the other ain't because of it being broken... its from overuse of the other one....

You're gonna go blind Flop... :D

What a minute... i saw some chopped cars at VIVA LV last year and they used lots and lots and lots of bondo. I think you chopped it wrong, with the smooth metal there's no room for bondo...:D

well im starting from the front and finishing the car panel by panel...i think thats the only way i can finish this car to the calibur i want it at.

pass side fender. filled all pits and pin holes and a minor crack in the 53 surround. also made the 53 surround go into the fender at the bottom.

man does it feel good to be workin on this thing again. the tig welder adds a new element to it for me too.

find all my previous mistakes and circle then in green ..do alot of poking with a pick to find pinholes and weld em up

    i still got it!!! hah

onto the fender gap with the door tomorrow then to the other fender!!!

i hope its not to boring for ya out there but this is the only way im gonna get it done.

driver side done today !!!man it feel good to be back on this car again!! im so fucking excited about it ..its a combo of things i kno for a fact but everything seems to be going way to right now!!!

started with bad door gaps on the passenger side

and the bottom of the fender sticking out

got the gap situated with a little persistence

bottom of the fender in helped alot also

with alot more persistence was getting things level across so i dont have t use much filler on the ends of the panels alot of hammer and dolly work done

thisis the part where i love the tig dealing in pinholes that a mig would blow through on its lowest setting even if it isnt very thin but has had grinding done to it.
    all my bad spots

side profile of the front all done except for the hood.

and the beginnings of my grill... 59 caddy bar gonna use some kind of tube on the ends to house parking lights/turn signals...opinions please!!!

Looking great! Why not use the front marker lights from a 49 Ford sedan to end your floating grill?

THANKS james i need to get me some photo shop.. the one with the lights now looks like it needs sumthing else to it for some reason .. i really dig the smooth bar alot.but im still waaay up in the air i like them booth. the ford lights may be a good idea too. for a color james i am thinking a black cherry... where only the red in it will pop in the sun.

Damn you did the corners too i didnt notice that till now!!! which is funny since that is what i started today!

here is how i got my radius for the round corners...5 inch cut off wheels

    radius
    [IMG]

made a break in some 18 guage then did alot of stretching and still couldnt get the radius right so i had to put a relief cut

much work but it makes such a difference and its tying the whole front end of the car together now. still rough around the edges but you get the picture.

headlights are staying that way...it had shitty hagan frenched headlights in it i took those out then had 53 caddy headlights and bezels in there.they came out.. then it went back to stock with them frenched ever sooo slightly so they are in perfect arc with the fenders. plus if they were frenched i think there would be waaaaay to much paint up there and have an 80s painted everything feel
